The story
From a tired shed to a small working room.
The existing footprint was the starting point. The project became a ground-up rebuild shaped by the yard, the property, and the way the new room would be used.
Clearing the footprint
The old structure came down so the footprint, base, and relationship to the yard could be reconsidered before rebuilding.
Building it back
The framing, openings, and exterior were rebuilt around the available space and the proportions of a small but genuinely useful room.
Built accordingly
The layout, windows, and materials were chosen around the property and the work the room needed to support.
